What an amazing find!

We got a selection box of cakes and every single one was fresh and delicious and had great flavours.

Big shout out for the brownies, both the chocolate topped ones, and the biscoff topped one - both really squidgy and delicious. Apparently they're made with real Belgian chocolate, which explains why they're so rich and decadent!

Other standout cakes (though all were great!) were the pistachio and walnut ones, lovely dense nutty sponges with great flavour and a great ratio of topping to cake.

The other end of the scale was the lotus biscoff sponge - so light and fluffy and airy!

Usually I'm not that fussed on flavoured sponges, but the strawberry cake was really delicious, and so fresh.

The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Can't believe you can order a fresh cake and pick it up same day.

The cakes are really reasonable too - I think the most expensive big cake was £24.99, which is excellent value for a fresh, handmade cake IMHO.

Last but not least was the chai tea - I love a chai tea and this was made with care and fresh (dried) cardamom. Can recommend! We...

DO NOT ORDER!! I placed a cake order from here. Placed the order 1 week before the cake was required. Payment in full was requested at the time of placing the order and I advised that I needed the cake at 10am as we were going out of Birmingham with it. Farhan assured me that it would not be a problem as they opened early. Arrived on collection day to be told the cake wasn’t done as the guy who makes the cakes had not come in today! If this was the case, why could I not have had a courtesy call from the shop? Whilst they offered to make a cake, they advised it would be a few hours, which was of no use to me. Whilst they have cakes on display, I ordered a made to order, for a specific reason. The customer service was non exiistent. I took my cash refund and will never return!

If you want a cake made to order, DO...

We had a 8” cream cake for my wife’s birthday, my wife was blown away when I presented it to her, it looked stunning. And I’m glad to say it tasted as good as it looked, it was amazing, I’d go as far to say possibly one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. The best thing also about the bakers shop is I went in earlier to book a cake for the occasion but didn’t need to, all the cakes are all fresh to take away from the refrigerated counter, there and then. What you see is what you get. The cakes are meant to last for at least 7 days, ours was gone in 2 it was so good. It is a family run shop that are a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and so welcoming. This bakery deserves this great review. I’d recommend to everyone and I will definitely be back for more. Well done guys, you smashed it. And...

This is a great independent cake shop. I had tried the cake at my nephew's birthday and have since bought 2 cakes from them. Whilst the cakes may not look as fancy/sharp as some shops the range is still decent and the flavour is spot on, nice soft sponge and not too rich. They have quite a few other individual cakes/pastries of which i have tried a few and was happy with, the eclair however was not to my liking. If you like milk cake then they sell a few different flavours for 3.99 which i felt was fair in comparison to competitors. Cakes are roughly £25 i can't remeber the exact size but you can feed 10-12 people with them. The staff have been friendly and welcoming. I have given 4 star's based on the fact that I have not tried everything that they have.

I recently ordered a birthday cake for my mum, and it was perfect— looked amazing and tasted just as good. My mum loved it, and the price was very reasonable too. What really stood out to me was the speed of service. I ordered the cake in the evening, and it was ready the very next day—really impressive! Farhan provided excellent service, he was very accommodating and made the whole process simple and hassle-free. On top of that, their patisseries and sweet treats are brilliant. The brownies are a winner, but my personal favourite has to be anything Biscoff-flavored. I’ve been here a few times now, and they’ve always delivered. If you’re after great cakes, fantastic sweet treats, and friendly, efficient service, this is definitely the place to go.
