I took my four year old for dinner earlier on this evening, we were served by a gentleman called Adam. He was rude, unprofessional and had an expression that said "I don't want to be here". He gave me the wrong information about an amendment that I wanted to make, and was repeatedly abrupt and ignorant, even when he eventually realised that he had misinformed me, there was now apology. Our food was brought out by a lovely, kind and bubbley lady called Kelly. The difference I'm service was Knight and Day. Kelly is an absolute credit to this establishment, she greeted my Son, engaged in natural conversation and even went soo far, as to apologise on behalf of her, rude, lack luster college (which, quite frankly, she should not have to do). Our food was bland and tasteless. I had steak, the texture was okay and with a generous helping of gravy, it was edible. I will say, as much as the children's menu was quite limited, the three courses, were great value for money. I wouldn't return here in a hurry, of it were for the food, that being said, with the wonderful service of Kelly, I'd actually consider, trying something else from the menu. Thank you Kelly, for making what started as an awful visit, one that ended up being really quiet a pleasure. Keep up the good work.

Visited here for Sunday lunch. Opted for the vegetable tart Sunday Dinner. As we love our gravy, we quickly emptied our jugs over the meal and very impressed with a passing server, noticing our love for gravy, offered to get us more. Meal was good but the pastry of the tart was on the tough side but was improved by being soaked in gravy! We ate every bit but I did feedback about the pasty to the server, who collected the empty plates, and this was very positively received and she said this would be fed back to the kitchen. For dessert we shared a sharing sundae which was delicious. Good veggie options and very kiddie friendly (little play area outside)

Great food, great drinks , fabulous service. Large car park at the back. Excellent service. Great family pub with family area where there are TVs in the booths. Waitress was very polite and even brought a spare plate for my son to enjoy the food. Lots of room and has an outdoor kids play area. There are daily deals everyday and the Greene King app works really well here . Top tip make sure u connect to the WiFi as mobile signal is weak inside. Finally , just to add the toilets here are brilliant, cleanest pub toilets ever !

We went last night for our Nephews 18th birthday. The refurbishment is nice although our table 34 I think at the back opposite the bar, has a bad smell of sewage around it. I'd noticed upon entry but didn't say anything until a few other members of the family mentioned it so that needs attention as to where its coming from.. Possibly blocked drains as the loos are miles away from our table?? Food: Great prices and really nice which the majority of our family enjoyed however the Kitchen service definitely needs attention. Sending the adults meals out before the childrens is rather silly.. Send the kids out first they're children they should be priority. Also Mom had to wait around 15 minutes after everyone else had received their food for hers.. We had to ask twice! Desserts.. 6 were ordered.. 4 came out.. 2 came out again 15 minutes later leaving a 3 Yr old asking Where's her pudding?? These issues really do need to be addressed .Staff are lovely and very polite and attentive but unfortunately I'll stick with 3 stars as the Kitchen issues caused stress for our family last night. I will be returning as I believe with those issues addressed you'll be able to achieve a five star. Oh lastly .. The chicken tikka masala meal is amazing however chef needs to put the poppadoms on last as the naan bread on top of them made them soggy and inedible from the heat so pop those on top and problem solved. I look forward to returning and seeing if my comments are...

We booked a table for 10 at 5.30 pm for this evening, we ordered our food and drinks at 17.50 , everything was fine, food came promptly however we were still waiting for a drink of coffee that we were told would be bought over, we went to the bar 3 times and it was finally bought over halfway through our meal, the girl behind the bar had attitude and had no intention of making the coffee but kept being told I'll do it next We had our meal and must say the food was good, we waited then another 45 minutes for the table to be cleared and no one asked us at anytime if all was OK, we had to ask the waitress who was working on her own where our puddings were, she said she would get them, another 20 minutes later they arrived , where they were thrown onto the table by a very despondent waitress In total with food and drinks we spent in excess of £120 , I have no complaint about the food but the service was abysmal, 1 girl behind the bar who couldn't make a coffee and 1 over worked lady trying to serve the whole restaurant, consequently causing poor service, you have a booking service which we used and gave over 1 weeks notice of booking, surely you should have enough people to cater for the customers paying for...
