The Journey's End — Restaurant in Birmingham

Im quite a regular customer here since they were available on the uber eats platform. Now while the food is the majority of the time fantastic and the staff friendly and helpful , there are a few issues which does let this place down. Mainly the separation of cold drinks and hot food being packaged together with the food ending up being cold on receipt. While this particular issue has now became rare it still does happen every once in awhile which is disappointing. Secondly staff reading order notes on orders. I myself add order notes specifying particular dietary requirements or asking for a extra pot of bbq sauce etc which unfortunately seem to be what would I assume not read. If my they were unable to facilitate what was specified in the order notes then at least I would expect a phone call or a note written in with the order.

Overall the staff and food are great but the small issues that I've encountered let this place down ever...

Dirty sticky table. Moved to another table that was full of another customers foods who had left. Asked a staff serving drinks if table could be cleaned. He came over took food away sprayed table while sitting at the table with condiments in a pot. Ordered food. Chips/ Nachos in a dish which were cold. I asked for replacement. By the time they arrived some 10 mins later i was put off. Asked for a refund on my burgers already paid for 🍔 as I was not hungry anymore. I was asked if I wanted to take them home. Well! Do I Laugh 😃 or cry 😢. No No No I want a refund on my burgers 🍔 Thank you. As we had not received them thank God. I paid by Card received cash payment um 😐 😳 very Strange Would not entertain food again 🙄 Staff not bothered about Customer service at all. To busy laughing with each other. Shame really, because served a nice Pint of lager.. Regular in Pub advice dont go near...

Wow !! What a great day we had last Sunday , 18th July at the family fun day . Lots to do for all of us , side shows , bouncy castle and slide for the little one - £2 all day if he wanted to , stalls for us to buy odds and ends , yummy candy floss and ice cold slushy , just right in the heat. A display from the Army boys and a guest appearance by a 95 years young lady who. was a pilot in the last war , she even danced a waltz , god bless her ! He event was in aid of our heroes from Ww2 to return to Normandy late in the year, a wonderful chance to thank them . The staff were top notch all day , smiling and helpful as ever , thanks Heels(?) , Bonnie , Jess and Ross , plus's the back room staff , wonderful scones over flowing with ma'am and cream ! Very well done one and all. Highly recommended any time of the year . Many thanks Sarah ,...
