Stoney Ground Coffee — Restaurant in Blaby

Scott at Stoney Ground is an excellent barista and all-around great guy. Service is fantastic; Scott is always up for a friendly chat while you wait for your coffee. The coffee itself is sourced from St Martin's, and from that, Scott does an amazing job at creating wonderfully crafted coffee drinks. There's also snacks including delicious baked goods (brownies, blondies, cookies, etc) created by his lovely wife, and these are always top notch! There's also the subtle lofi music, free treats, water and even "puppuccinos" for our canine friends, and he offers milkshakes for kids and those that don't drink coffee. It really is lovely to have somewhere to go in the village that serves delicious, fresh coffee (and a big range of other beverages). I have visited a couple of times since opening and have always been greeted warmly, and my order has been completed promptly - which at times is tricky considering it can get a little busy! Which is hardly surprising; when I had my first gingerbread latte from Stoney Ground I think I told every person I spoke to that week how delicious it was.

This place is right up my street. Not literally as I was visiting from Glasgow. The vibe of the van is great. Offering up Great coffee and other tasty treats. I got chatting to Scott as I just set up my own business recently. It’s great to see the same buzz behind his eyes and the passion and attention to detail he has. Wish him all the success.
