Went for a bite to eat we didn't go in actual pub but to the little bit on the outside of the pub to get the food where you could then sit on some wooden benches underneath a gazebo and I must say I was disgusted we ordered some baguettes and some chips wow where do I start the board clearly stated tuna and mayo baguette yet when it came the mayonnaise was completely mixed in with chopped parsley I'm sorry but I don't like parsley and if I had known this which should have been stated on the board I would not have ordered it so I took it back and told them that I'm sorry I cannot eat this with parsley mixed in with it and the person that was doing the food behind told me that that is how they come I tried to tell him that well it is not stated on the menu that it comes like that which it should be be and he simply started to become a big head trying to say that he does not have to state anything on the menu which I know for a fact that you do do as at the end of the day you are advertising a tuna mayo not a tuna mayo with parsley mixed in anyhow I change the baguette the next problem was they had forgotten our chips so we had to wait then for the chips when they came they didn't even come on a plate they were in a little paper bag and they were dry there was no salt and vinegar not even on the tables or inside we never even got asked if we would like any salt and vinegar or sources the third problem like I said I changed my baguette and I went for the the gammon baguette and this came with no butter so again it was dry why and the gammon taste did awful as though it was going off in all the meal cost around £15 and service I think was disgusting I would never recommend this place to go and get food to anybody I would stay clearly away the only reason I have gave it one star is because of you of the pond is lovely so seriously people if you want a nice view then yes food then I would...
Read morePretty OK place to dive however it's £22 just to get in is a tad expensive for what it is and you are not guaranteed a parking place near to the water itself and most of the times have to use their dirt parking spot about 400 metres away unless you get there before it opens early in the morning which is not ideal when having to lug heavy equipment. It has a pub when not in dry/wet suit and another little place to eat outside when you are which saves it from getting 2 stars.
Not great but not terrible, the entry fee needs to...
Read moreGreeted by an extremely rude and condescending member of security who couldn't seem to get his head around the fact that some people (especially the elderly) wish to just park up and look at scenery. This spot used to be lovely to just park up and watch the various activities but with a gated off entrance and a guard demanding an entrance fee of £3 just for us to watch the water for 10 or so minutes it certainly wasn't worth it. Its sad to see the monetisation of local...
