AVIOD LIKE THE PLAGUE- booked 2 nights didnāt even stay 1 !! Arrived to find the place is only open Fri, Sat and Sun.( we had booked mon and tues ) Was only shear luck we found someone to let us into our room . I say room it will probably feature as some sort of crime scene in the future , was definitely giving off that vibe . Trying to stay positive I thought I would make a cup of tea , the two teabags provided looked like they had already tried to escape their captivity and given up all hope of forever being a decent cuppa . As I entered the bathroom it was clear a brunette had taken full advantage of the bath (plenty of hairs available if police need a dna match for the future ) . The pub was completely shut and we found ourselves unable to buy any food anywhere in local vicinity .( 5 mile radius , no shop , garage or even take away ) The only other pub was open , looked like a better option for dinner- but would you believe it , only serves food on thurs , fri and Sat !! Surviving on a bag on midget gems we packed our bags ( not that they had been unpacked , but to add effect ) we dropped our room key in the post box provided ( self service reception ) and...
