Good points .Arrived late but has rung ahead and they'd kept our table despite being very busy and table prepared for wheelchair. Very prettily decorated . Range of food for meat eaters and vegetarians is very good. A member of staff was very aware of a vegan diet and told me the options which aren't on the menu . The entry way is flat so you can wheel a chair in. The staff did start to be really friendly and helpful once we'd been seated. The magician was a lovely unusual touch whilst we waited. Food for my table that was meat they found very filling and delicious. Points of note The entry way although flat was a bit blocked so it was a tight squeeze. No very warm welcome i.e had we been here before . But I was aware we had arrived late and at one point they were struggling for tables so we had to get straight into it. But as I said they were very busy and when a bit calmer they warmed up. Our initial server was unaware of any vegan options and just pointed at the vegetarian choices. I had emailed with my booking that I was vegan and was assured that there would be vegan choices for me. Luckily one of the other staff took over and sorted it for me 💚. I do feel the vegan choices should be listed on the menu as I needed to wait to go through the options verbally after my party had ordered. Also all staff should be aware of dietary requirements and offerings . Price of drinks made up quite a chunk of the bill. Vegan me was left feeling hungry still as my party had starters . I was warned that there is no disabled toilet on my booking ..I know it's very limited in space but I was on pins in case my elderly very sore very stiff guest needed the toilet . Luckily no . Overall my table found the food delicious. Some work definitely needed on the vegan options. Our birthday girl loved it and kept commenting on how pretty and tasty it was. For that reason and the sheer lack of other options we'll be back with her. Bolton used to have some excellent Chinese restaurants, but they've all closed down over the past few years. A family member wanted a Chinese for their Birthday, so we came here for the first time in November, having read about it on TripAdvisor.

We were very impressed.

The restaurant setting is very comfortable. Not outdated, but not overly modern either. It's just right.

The food is amazing, and you get a lot of it. This has to be one of the best value for money restaurants I've ever been to. On our second visit we tried the special menu, which for £12.95 per head gives you a soup, a starter and a mains. We did expect the portions to be smaller than had we picked from a la carte, but they weren't, they were standard size.

The duck here is out of this world, and again you get a lot of it.

We watched as the proprietors walked around the restaurant talking to customers. It's obvious that most of the diners are regulars from the way that the staff interacted with them, which is a very good sign. I think that we're going to become...

Recently visited for Mother's Day, from arrival the service was awful. Took 30 minutes to take our drinks order, nobody checked if our food was okay, once we were done we sat awkwardly on the table waiting for someone to offer a dessert menu or the bill but nobody came or even gave eye contact, our young son went to the bar to ask for the bill in the end and three women behind the bar stood staring and pointing at us. After a good few minutes of staring my husband decided to go and ask if there was an issue, they had added extra drinks onto our bill that we hadn't had. That could have been communicated rather than pointing and staring. My coeliac son also had to have the day off school the next day due to being unwell which was a major concern since we ordered or food gluten free. I've contacted in writing twice since and I haven't had any response. It's a terrible shame because I can't fault the food.
