The Globe at Egerton Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Bolton

Me and my partner are self-confessed Globe regulars – once or twice a month, like clockwork, usually after the gym when we’ve “earned” it (or at least convinced ourselves we have). The menu is a perfect balance of halo-polishing healthy options and the undisputed champion of the area: the English breakfast. And believe me, we’ve done the field research – Bolton, Darwen, you name it – nothing tops The Globe’s 5-star fry-up.

The girls here make the place what it is – warm smiles, friendly banter, and the kind of welcome that makes you feel like you’ve wandered into a friend’s kitchen (a friend who happens to be a much better cook). The food has been spot-on every single time, and if you fancy tweaking your order, they’re more than happy to oblige.

The café itself is cute and cosy, like the sort of place you tell yourself you’ll “just pop in” to… and then suddenly you’ve had a full breakfast, a chai latte, and possibly a smoothie, because they’re excellent too. Prices are reasonable, which is dangerous, because it makes it far too easy to keep coming back.

The places is Warm an welcoming, with a relaxed mood as you dine!! The staff are pleasant and approachable and are more than happy to accommodate any issues or requests...

The food is rather good, whether you just fancy an English breakfast or eggs benadict to start your day. Or you're feeling a bit more ventures, and you fancy trying one of their fusion poke bowls 🥣 or ramen.

They do have wide sections of dishes on the menu to accommodate your appetite 😋.

Or if you fancy just bobbing in for a simple coffee ☕️ and cake!! Quick chat with a friend, they have a great selection of tea & coffee option, it isn't mandatory that ya have dine when seated.

This cafe / coffee shop is located directly on the main road leading from Bolton to Darwen. Which makes it ideal to drop by when visiting the local area

The cafe has beautiful decor and lovely staff who are always friendly and happy to help and always willing to chat.

Myself and my partner drop by on a regular basis for their breakfasts. But their menu has a huge selection from breakfast to lunch. One of our favourite items on the menu are the Salt and pepper hashbrown bites. The coffee is certainly better than larger brands like costa
