My husband and I were most impressed with the customer service and quality of food here. We walked in without booking and were going to get takeout but then a table became available. The food was exceptional! We ordered a margherita pizza which we asked to have a variety of vegetables added to it and the penne gratinate... hands down the best pasta dish we've eaten! Staff all very friendly and welcoming too. We highly recommend Cibo and would love to come back here again!

Lovely homely intimate Italian restaurant. Fantastic service, very attentive and efficient, but food was mixed. The half cheese, half tomato garlic bread was extremely tasty as was the tiramasu, which was light, creamy with a delicious almond flavour. However, the aubergine bake was a little bland and the side of bread undercooked, more like hard bread rather than grilled toast or soft fresh bread. It was neither toast or bread. My friends both loved their main dishes.

What a lovely little restaurant. We ordered garlic bread with cheese - amazing. Then cannelloni and risotto for main. Both came piping hot and very tasty. Sticky toffee pudding and profiteroles for pudding. The profitaroles were the best I've ever tasted. Service was speedy and reasonably priced. Under £60 for 2 with drinks. Definitely worth a visit. They also offered gluten free pasta and pizza.

We went to Cibo in Bolton the evening before our wedding on 8th October 2021. There was a large party of about 40 of us so we basically had the whole restaurant. The staff were absolutely amazing, from booking the meal to when we arrived. They were very helpful and accommodated us all with ease. From the moment we got there me, my husband and all of our guests loved it. All the food came out on time, fresh and tasted absolutely beautiful. The staff made it look very easy. You would usually expect it to be hectic with the amount of meals they had to get out, but there was none of that. We had the most amazing evening, with great company and great food. What more could you want the evening before your wedding?! A huge thank you to the restaurant manager Mark. He was very friendly and it made the night all the more relaxing and enjoyable. All the guests who came have since mentioned how amazing they thought the restaurant was and they will definitely be returning. I know me and my husband will, without hesitation. Thank you very much. We appreciate all you did, use do an...

Dined here a couple of times with friends because it was recommended numerous times.

Upon entering we were pleasantly surprised at just how many tables have been fit into a relatively small space without it feeling too cramped. Due to it's small size I would highly recommend booking ahead.

The menu has enough variety without being overwhelming. I had the deep fired brie & my partner had the garlic mushrooms to start and both were delicious!

For our main courses I had carbonara & my partner had meatballs, again both delicious. I do want to make a special mention of the carbonara though because it was probably the best I have ever had!

Everything was reasonably priced and the staff were welcoming and polite.

Unfortunately, I can't give a rating higher than a three because despite polite staff, everything just takes forever to happen. You can sat around waiting for your order to be taken or for your bill to come for ages.

In summary, it is a nice place to go just make sure you...

After being told by friends about the very reasonably priced lunch's at Cibo's i.e. £5.95 for any pizza or pasta we decided we had to give it a try. I had fillet steak (yes fillet steak) sliced in a chilli & tomato sauce which had loads of steak in it and my wife had the chicken & mushroom pasta dish and both meals were superb. We were both to full for after's so they were not skimpy portions either honestly you could not make these meals any cheaper if you made them yourself . So its a no brainer we will be having lunch there on a regular basis from now on and lets not forget to mention the staff who although were all young girls they were so polite & attentive even though the restaurant was packed . So well done all the crew at Cibo's including the brilliant chef/owner you are doing everything perfect and I hope you keep this level of service & value for money up its a welcome change for us local pensioners who can't afford the price's at most local...
