We did a pub stopover for the Lytham festival. The staff were amazing and helpful. Big car park with plenty of space. Good location only mins from the front in an uber. Clean toilets. The menu is huge with lots of choice. I had the mac and cheese with pulled beef. It was average and a tad dry but for the price you cant really complain as everything was reasonably priced. The desserts were average also. I had the baileys profiteroles, which were still frozen. We returned in the evening and had loaded fries and a selection of chicken bites and sides, which we enjoyed. Wine was reasonably priced also at £18 a bottle of Malbec. Great choice of cocktails and shots which were reasonably priced. Would stay again definitely as it's a great location and staff were friendly. They did take a £20 fee for the stopover, which wasn't mentioned when I phone. However, it was for a charity, so I didn't mind and still reasonable to stay overnight. They also did a blue light discount 💙

First night in 8 months me and the missus managed to go for a dinner date without kids which we were needing . Ordered 2 sirloin steaks (1 rare, 1 mid rare) , onion rings to share and a bottle of 19 crimes . I had to open the bottle of wine myself (I was fine about it and kinda laughed it off) . Food took was 20 minutes and looked good when it came 😋. Our steaks were both mid well , my curly fries and onion rings were very undercooked , my partners steak was no joke 50% fat . I wasn't going to complain as we were hungry and we did eat the majority of the food but when I went to get a lemonade for my partner part way through the meal I got charged £2:50 for soda water (we were judging like that was purposely done) . Its a shame as we were looking forward so much to food and the time together. In the picture you can see the fat on my missus steak and when I use to work in kitchens that food would of not left the kitchen . £45 for a bad experience for 2

Great pub! We have driven past here often over the years, caught our eye yesterday as was a fantastic sun trap! We were initially going for breakfast elsewhere but thought we would try here then we could sit in the sun. Staff service and friendliness is second to none, very helpful and nice team. Prices are super cheap and food is really decent. Was worried it may have been a Wetherspoon’s but it’s much better than that. I had two breakfasts so I could try the waffle with strawberries and it didn’t disappoint. Was lovely quiet and relaxing. Not a long wait for the food at all. And enjoyed two cappuccinos! Would return to try the lunch menu !

I think they need a trip to the cash & carry!! “Sorry, we haven’t got any…..” seemed to be the staff answer of the day.

We booked a table for 5 (4 adults and 1 child) on a Saturday eve around 7pm. I had driven up with my wife and son from Portsmouth especially to take my mum and dad out for a meal ahead of Mothers Day, the next day.

We were told there was an hour wait on food; which seemed excessive to say they weren’t full or that busy, but I appreciated they told us and accepted it. After deciding on food, 3 of us wanted the big beef burger…. Went to order and “Sorry… we haven’t no beef burgers.” Frustrating, yet fine, it happens, must have been popular choice that day. Ordering drinks, I was driving back to Portsmouth that evening, so was on the water. I asked for a slice of lemon with my water (push the boat out, as Saturday night). “Sorry we haven’t no lemon.” Very odd for a pub. Then my son (aged 8) wanted a straw with his apple juice…. “Sorry, we have no straws”.

When the food arrived it was very nice and the staff were friendly, but just could t believe they were out of so many things. Not even difficult to pop to supermarket to get lemons and straws…. Just...

Hi firstly it was apparent that there was not enough staff either on the bar or serving food. We are guessing the same was the case in the kitchen. There was a queue at the bar to get our drinks, we waited some time. Then we were advised that there would be an hour wait for food (we had pre-booked online). Secondly the table we requested was only set for 3 and there was four of us and no reserve sign was on the table. So we had to find an alternative table. There was certainly a delay for the food. The food, no complaints - good as usual. We noticed that tables aren't cleared quickly when diners leave but are left full of pots. Which doesn't look good and affects your covers and new guests arriving. Surely in December you would expect to be busy due to the time of season and would plan accordingly. We brought our two friends for her birthday meal so did not want to cause a fuss. We are out of the UK from 8th Dec till 20th January and would normally come for my wife's birthday on the 11th January. We will need to see an improvement in service before coming back either on our own or with our friends again. The christmas decorations however,...

Sorry, I was disappointed with the food, on the second occasion I attended this pub. I ordered the fish and chips The fish tasted under cook, and some my chips was cold. I queried about the chicken wings, we only had 5 between two people. I had a similar meal, on the Friday and was given ten between two people. It wasn't worth it. I won't order this again, or maybe go to weatherspoon, who give you ten. I found meal rather pricey for what we actually got. Also, the onions rings I ordered two portions , for me my partner was undercooked. The chips used were obviously frozen and the onion rings. too . I ate some and left the rest. My partner left most of his. I cook onions rings from scratch, they are easy to do. We pay good money for food so as much effort and care, should be taken with cooking my food. I only came to blossoms by default because weatherspoon was full. I don't think I will be returning. I feel that it is kinder insult serving to me food like that. I do a great deal of home cooking such as fish and chips, and onion rings from scratch. I expect higher quality and standard of food because I am...
