Greggs is Greggs. What started out as a bakers that sold warm pies etc, is now a hot, and cold food outlet. Seller of legendary sausage rolls. I've called before 11am, and bought their breakfast baguette. This is bacon, and/or sausage, plus "omelette" in a baguette, plus a fancy coffee, for three pounds. It's filling, and reasonably priced. There are cheaper cafe's for breakfast, but this is constant, and always the same, whereas some cafe's vary a lot. Also, I like baguettes, I don't like runny eggs, and this is just right for me. Pleasant staff, nice and clean, comfortable seats, and tables....

Early on a Sunday, and most of the shelves were empty, and in 2024 they inexplicably had signs citing Covid and social distancing in the kitchen as being the reason, like what the hell, Greggs? The empty shelves would've looked better without those signs.
