KFC Colne - North Valley Road — Restaurant in Borough of Pendle

Absolutely disgusting!!! I went with my grandson,  Friday afternoon 12/4/2019. When we arrived ,there was a queue of about 4, I looked around for somewhere to sit, a few tables were occupied, the rest all had trays with left food/drinks, I first thought, why can't people just empty them I to the bin? Then i glanced at the bin... full to the top, with lots of full trays piled up on top, no room for anymore rubbish. 10 minutes later after being served, there was still no clean/clear tables and the bin was still in the same state, I had to clear a table and balance the tray I removed on top of all the others. It was nasty to keep looking at, my grandson said nana that's smelly! I went to the counter and waited to speak to someone,  finally someone came to speak to me, I said sorry to bother you but that bin is full and the things on the top could be knocked off ... the way the girl behind the counter looked at me, if I hadnt already ordered/paid , I would have left right then. About 30 minutes later, when I decided  to take a photo of the bin,someone finally came out with a black bag, they removed all the stuff off the top, then proceeded to just lift rubbish out of the bin ( didnt empty the bag in the bin )  some of the cups must have had liquid left in, as when she walked away , there was a small puddle on the floor, there was young children wandering about,  some customers who had disabilities,  all of which could have slipped on the spillage,NO WET FLOOR sign had been put there, when a little girl nearly slipped, I went to the counter and once again had to wait for someone to come and speak to me, I informed them that there was liquid on the floor , and it was an accident waiting to happen! You would have thought I had sworn at her  she looked down her  nose at me and said "ok " and walked away, 5 minutes later, I stood up and took another photo, suddenly,  out pops someone with a mop, sort of cleans it, put a sign up, but leaves some straws on the floor, which they had dropped earlier. I thought right photo time, made sure I was visable when I took the picture,  and yes out came someone with a brush and swept up the straws. I thought it's a bit much that someone has to be seen taking pictures for someone to clean up! So we had finished eating, I went to use the bathroom,  and surprise surprise,  it was also disgusting,  the floor was wet, no toilet roll,and smelled! I decided to wait until I got home. I will NOT be going there again. Really disappointed with the whole store...

We had a drive through meal Sat (yesterday 2nd Dec) & if this had been our 1st visit it would also have been our last. We certainly will never use this branch over a weekend. The receipt showed the correct details of our order. The meals we received did not match. I have an allergy to certain foods so always order a plain burger with the chicken hash brown & cheese. I received a loaded burger. Husband took it inside to be met with a group of teenagers who were too busy talking to ask him what he wanted. When one if the girls did respond to his excuse me...he explained the problem. Her response to him...priceless. Told him not to get shirty with them, which he did not, & picked the lettuce off my burger with her bare hands & told him that it was now a plain burger! Need I say more? Good job a manager came over to see what was happening. He sorted us out thankfully but this was a really poor experience. Think the staff really need to go back to basics of safe food prep & handling as well as customer service. Pull your...

Slow and inaccurate table service made worse by undercooked chicken, forgotten items, incorrect drink sizes. All this when using the electronic menu inside the restaurant.

Sorry but there was zero care and attention paid here. Ordered the food, took number and went to table. Then waited and waited and waited. Bear in mind there was nobody at the drive thru and only one other table with people and we sat and waited for 30 minutes before food finally arrived. So definitely not fast.

When the food did arrive there were a variety of things missing. Including the drinks, and when those arrived even the fact that Large had been selected (and paid for) only standard sizes arrived.

Then the food itself. My daughter bit into her fillet burger and and immediately recoiled at the pink undercooked chicken.

There was not an element of this meal that was acceptable, so can only recommend...
