What a dive!! Went in for one with my fiance, on arrival we saw an old lady, around 75. with her head gashed on the pavement, there where people surrounding her. On arrival I presumed the people around her where employees of the george and dragon, however the people around her where punters, staff inside the pub apart from one member of staff, were not willing to help the old lady who was injured on the floor. By the time the ambulance arrived at the scene, the injured lady was potentiality comforted and felt slightly comfortable in the horrible situation, only for the customers who took time out of there own weekend to assist this lady. This woman was well into her 70s and in a completely horrific predicament. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to be desperate enough, to ever need any help in this establishment, as they wouldn't receive one ounce of empathy or kindness from any of the management or staff (Barr one). Barmaid reluctantly swapped them, claiming it was a new barrel and that they'd had no other complaints. The replacement pints (Wainwrights) tasted like vinegar and so had to take them back too. Money was refunded with barmaid complaining she had now lost four pints, but no hint of an apology. Suggest they try keeping their beer better and/or cleaning their pipes...

Polite staff on arrival and was attended by the new landlady. From the beginning to the end the food was very well presented and tasted as good as it looked.
