Had food outside in the sunshine, separate menu which was absolutely fine by us - enough choice for an alfresco bite to eat and delicious, no complaints from fussy 13 year old which is always a winner. Quite traditional inside the pub (didn't venture into the restaurant, it was fully booked), 2 draft ales on, stuck with the bowland brewery pheasant plucker which was decent. This brilliant pub has been a lifesaver for me. I'm stuck in a country I really don't want to be in but I've become a big fan and almost a regular here. Gareth and Lorraine are amazing hosts and work their socks off to make sure everyone feels welcome and the staff are equally friendly and welcoming. The food that comes out of the tiny kitchen is top notch an the prices are VERY reasonable. To those people who have complained about having to eat in the bar area, IT'S A PUB!! Hidden gem is quite often over used in reviews. The Old Bridge Inn isn’t exactly hidden, it’s right on the main road through Barrowford but it’s definitely a bit of a gem. A lovely pub, great atmosphere, great beer and excellent food. Been here several times and the food is up there with some of the very best gastro pubs around the country. Without the inflated price!
