I had the delight of food from here while staying with family. Was amazing

After reading of a nasty neighbour complaining about the restaurant sign and it having to be removed, I would suggest painting the exact same sign on to the wall in the same spot, flat and level with the rest of the paint, as this constitutes a painted design, and is not a hung sign protruding from the wall. This requires no planning permissions and is not a permanent fixture. It is just a matter of different colour paints applied in a pattern that so happens to resemble the old signage that your local council is saying you have to remove.

Can I just say well done to your local council for encouraging local business which I'm sure will also encourage outside investors to come to the area. I am if course being sarcastic and if the local area goes down hill I hope everyone rightfully puts the blame squarely on them.

Back on topic though, beautiful food. And providing the local council and horrible neighbours don't force them to leave the area or close down, I will be happy to purchase from here in the future. In this day and age all local business, both old and new, should be encouraged, not made to jump...

Having just visited this restaurant with some friends, I have to say I'm extremely disappointed and feel that the restaurant staff lack in customer service training, we sat down to our table on time, which was fine, then we waited quite some time to be asked if we would like some drinks, the guy who took the drinks order was asked by one of my friends if she could pay for her bottle of wine separate as she didn't want it going on the bill, she gave him the cash, he walked away with the cash and was gone quite some time with the cash, eventually he came back, he then took our order for food, the food was nice, put what was very of putting was sever waters looking at their watches as though they was actually waiting for us to leave, ive never felt so uncomfortable whilst eating my food before in a restaurant, and the guy collected the money for the had serious attitude with us, we gave him a tip but even had the cheek to say we still needed to pay more money, he even charged one of our friends who had chicken nuggets and chips and two bottles...

Staying in Burnley I was looking for somewhere 'decent' for my Friday night 'fix'. Looking at the reviews it's hard not to consider this place. Unfortunately our visit coincided with a footie game that depleted the number of diners, and apart from two other tables we had the place to ourselves. Not that it bothers me but it would have been nice to see it 'in action'. It's a very smart, freshly decorated dining room, bright and airy and ideal for these warmer nights. The welcome was warm and friendly, the service attentive without it being intrusive. I couldn't fault the food although my wife found her meal a bit too hot for her to finish. What was particularly pleasing is that the owner was hugely insistent on trying to put 'it right'. There was no need as it wasn't a big deal for her but you could tell that he really wants everyone to leave the restaurant happy. I am sure that all restaurants do but he went above and beyond. Couldn't fault the night although I am thinking parking may be an issue...

Saw the restaurant being reviewed in the Manc evening news and it sounded delicious so I booked a table for a celebration meal. Every single member of staff was so friendly and couldn't do enough for you and can chat your ear off! They were genuinely interested in what you thought about the food, as well as being very knowledgeable about the food, background and history. We had the banquet special option which to be honest coming away, I feel like we ripped the place off it was such good value for money! The restaurant itself felt very sleek and stylish and the placement of the tables stopped you feeling crammed in. Definitely going to be a frequent flyer!

Clean and tidy establishment, service was efficient. Decent pint of Cobra(6 in total) although it was served slightly on the warm side. Poppadoms were good, pickle tray was standard. The mutton chop starter wasn't value for money (2 chops) but tasty, chicken chaat was decent, fish was good. A keema, pashwari and garlic and coriander naan were all good, as were the chapatis. Chicken tika madras, chili chicken and a chicken handi, all three dishes were good yet all tasted very similar and very rich in tomato, portion sizes small. The two portions of rice were good. All dishes lacked in quantity. Total cost £110 (which included an £11 tip.
