I went with my friend to have a drink at this place. We went to sit at the bar. There was a man sitting there. We sat next to him. He tried to chat my friend up by asking her about her trainers. We weren't interested so we replied but with no enthusiasm. He realised we weren't keen to talk so he stopped talking but he kept kicking my chair. I was patient thinking he did it accidentally. However, he continued kicking my chair. I turned around and asked him to stop kicking my chair. He was so rude. He said "you took this chair" probably meaning that he needed that chair to kick and I sat on it. I don't know. He looked at us so aggressively that we moved to sit away from him as it was scary to be near this man. He looked like he was the owner or someone who had some relevance to this cafe. We moved away, he moved the chair, I previously sat on, towards himself and put his legs on it. He kept playing some videos loudly on his phone disturbing all customers who were there. It was a very weird and unpleasant experience. I'll never go there again as I don't want my evening to be ruined by that rude and arrogant man. If you read another review, that man doesn't look like a customer. His musical preferences and the way he shares them with customers of the cafe was noticed by another customer who also complained about him on here. It actually was a member of staff because he went to the back a few times. Customers don't just get up and suddenly go to the kitchen. I would not be surprised that the person who replied was that man! 😄

Went here first time for lunch with the ladies, we had booked our table but had to wait 5mins as we were moved due to extra member. Taken to our table by staff member who was courteous, menus given x2, drinks ordered all ok. I chose the Turkish coffee as never had it before, only minute, but very strong & thick, could only manage half of it, then had Lemonade to wash it down with food. I had Halloumi/Avacado Wrap, Salad , fries, with plenty of bread to share between us. Lovely interior, plenty of customers, vegetarian options available, parking outside a possibility on main road or in various car parks situated close-by. I wouldn't choose this venue to bring young children, it's more suited for adult's. When paying the bill, we queued at the till, I forgot to ask to remove the added Charge(tips), & did find my lunch very pricey at £16, & I didn't get a breakdown of the receipt either. I would go again, but I would be removing the extra charge, & feel in this economic crisis we should be free to tip staff if we choose, not have it added on our bill, especially just for lunchtime.

Early evening so not too busy when we got there. Sat upstairs by a window. Rather cramped to be honest as I was sat against a wall. So I would describe this as food for those who don't like foreign food. Every flavour was turned down. Meze to start. Hmm. Filo pastries had no crunch and were soggy. The sausages were slices of, not actual sausages, and lacked tang. The chilli peppers were green peppers. It looked the part. Mains were A kebab ... Which came with half a pitta... A Chicken and spinach dish... A spicy lamb without spice And a pizza. It looked great it was presented well. But it was so noisy Mr Deaf couldn't hear his wife, virtually sat on his lap. Then a turn came... Singer songwriter type. I just gave up at this point. The food was well done. The staff were attentive. Not going back though.

Belated review from several days ago. Sorry, I wanted to like this place (coz I spent my money here) but it's only a 1 star. Went with my partner at lunchtime and we bought 2 latte's, a chicken burger, and a chicken wrap. Both had salad and fries/chips. Positives first. The surroundings are nicely decorated, and it is clean. Staff were polite and courteous. That's it. Negatives. The lattes were small, and by comparison you would get a much bigger one at Costa for the same price, that tastes no different. The lattes were served about 5 mins after ordering but then we had to wait 30 - 45 minutes for the burger and the wrap. The place was quiet when we went, not many people in at all, about 3 other tables, both of which were already eating. I was on the verge of telling them to forget it but stuck it out. I should not have bothered. My chips were cold and hard at the bottom of the bowl and luke warm and still half done at the top. My chicken burger was advertised as grilled chicken breast but was actually a processed chicken burger that tasted very salty and cheap. This was not the chicken breast as listed in the menu. My partner said the wrap was okay but nothing special to merit a return visit. Basically, this is a fast food outlet that is set up as a Turkish Bistro. There is nothing Turkish or Bistro about a cheap processed chicken burger or cold uncooked chips. I left half of it and, in fact I had such a funny aftertaste in my mouth, that on going home I had to brush my teeth. Not good food and not good value considering the promise of real grilled chicken breast and chunky chips in a Turkish Bistro. Look, I’m willing to spend my money on a good plate of food and don’t post negatives on a whim. Perhaps some are sold on the marketing of a fast food joint as a, ‘Turkish Bistro’. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I'm not that gullible to go back. Honestly, you would be better going to McDonalds down the road. At least they aren’t pretending to be a Bistro and their burgers actually taste okay for a fraction...

Visited yesterday for lunch with a friend and her baby girl. When we arrived the bistro was almost empty. We were shown to a table suitable for my friend to put her pram which was great. There was no reservation sign on the table and no mention from the lady who showed us to our table that we had a limited amount of time to stay. We were given menus and asked for drinks order ....still great. From then on we were asked if we were ready to order...we asked for 5 mins to browse the menu within a few minutes they were back again for the order. The order came within good time. My friend had her baby on her knee whilst eating her meal ...halfway through one of the staff came and asked if she could clear the plates...my friend was clearly still eating and said politely she hadn't yet finished. 5 minutes later they came again even though my friend hadn't finished. We ordered 2 more drinks. Soon after while we had not long had our drinks served they brought the bill. A few minutes later they asked if we would like the card machine. We hadn't even had chance to look at the ticket. The lady came back again and asked if we were ready to pay so we said okay we will pay card. While waiting for her to come back the waiter came back and said he needed us to give our table back as it was needed. Had the staff said when we entered that we need to book or that we could have a table but it was reserved from a certain time we would have had a choice on staying or finding somewhere else. We were in there less than an hour and felt pressurised from being given the menus right up to leaving. Not even a thank you hope you enjoyed your meal. Will we return ....that's a massive NO ... made to feel like unwanted custom and a quick filler till the apparent reservation arrived. Very poor service. Will not be recommending to anyone...
