Harry's Fish Bar (Chertsey) — Restaurant in Borough of Runnymede

Very very disappointed. I was in shop Ordered 3 fish and 3 chips. i didn't wait to long , he said order is ready. And he asked me if wanted salt and vinegar on the chips I said yes with with both as 1 of them was cheesey chis . Then he told me I only ordered 1 chips . I said no I order 3 and 3 you got it wrong. He said I should concentrate on him when ordering , we are a expensive fish and chip shop . You got your order now he pushed the bag towards me and told me to leave in a very aggressive and angry and manner. What great local attitude. No professionalism. After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review.

I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week.

I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order.

Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews.

Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly.

As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem.

Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival

Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want...

Ordered meals at 18:06. Expected a small delay due to covid, but at 19:56 had to ring to chase up. Was told they were busy and they would try to deliver in half an hour (so over 2hrs since the order was placed) no apology at all. The food arrived at 20:26...without the drinks that were ordered. The delivery driver then brought the drinks 5mins later! All in all, an absolute joke. Assume they are just taking as many orders/payments as possible, but unable to keep up with the supply.
