Visited Joe's Cafe for breakfast because the decor was nice and they did not disappoint because the food delivered which explains why they have so many postcards sent back from visitors. On a brief visit to Chertsey, I felt that there were not many dine in cafes as they were mainly takeaways so this is definitely a winner for Joe's. The menu at Joe's had the usual breakfast suspects but interestingly it didn't have black pudding which you can order if needed. I had the small breakfast which came with tea and buttered toast with extra black pudding. It came on a clean white plate, no oil to be seen and the tinned tomatoes were intact and the plate was clean surrounding it with no traces of tomato juice etc. Anyway, everything on the plate was 10/10, the toast was buttered nicely and you can taste the saltiness from the butter. The bacon was trimmed, egg was fried nicely so were the sausage and black pudding. Last but not least the tinned tomatoes were just right, not too soft or soggy with a meaty chewy bursting with seeds in the middle.

This is a really nice old cafe. Friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced. Parking outside but if can't get parked outside there is car parking nearby. Food was really good and value for money. I had ham and tomato omelette and my partner had scrambled eggs with salmon. Both enjoyed. Clean and tidy. Plenty of seating inside. Definitely recommend

Quality of food is good, but portion size for the cost doesn't match to be honest, attaching photo of the bacon & sausage bap for just under £5.00. One piece of bacon one small sausage and bap...I know places I can get x2 size for the same price.

I walked into this wonderful gem of a place by pure chance but as soon as I stepped in I loved it. It’s like walking back in history, how old school “greasy spoon” type of cafes used to be. It’s so good to see some like Joe’s survive due to the popularity with the loyal locals. Upon entry you are greeted with warm welcome and can either have your cuppa and brekkie sit in or take away. I decided to have a small breakfast of egg, sausage, crispy bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes and toasted, buttered bread with my coffee. It was simply delicious, filling and made me a very happy man on this very cold December morning. I will definitely be...

Poor large breakfast for the money. £10.50 one sausage on a large breakfast? (and it wasn't a good one either) Fried egg yolks very pale yellow with not much taste (cheap battery farm eggs) also had a long hair in the egg which I didn't make a fuss of, I just left it, bacon could have been a bit more well done for me, coffee was ok, I've had better Wetherspoons breakies for less money and more on my plate. Shame as it would be a handy place for my Visits to Thorpe Park.

Didn't take photos as the guy who cooked it then came and sat facing us whilst...
