Mystica Indian Restaurant – A Culinary Journey to Remember
Stepping into Mystica Indian Restaurant is like being transported straight to the heart of India — where rich aromas, vibrant colors, and warm hospitality await at every turn. From the first bite to the last, Mystica delivers a dining experience that beautifully balances authenticity with innovation.
The menu is a thoughtful blend of traditional Indian favorites and contemporary twists. The butter chicken is a standout — velvety, mildly spiced, and bursting with flavor, while the paneer tikka offers a smoky, satisfying bite for vegetarians. Don’t miss the lamb rogan josh — tender meat simmered in a deeply spiced sauce that speaks of slow cooking and skillful preparation.
Mystica also shines with its selection of freshly baked naan breads — soft, warm, and perfect for scooping up their rich, fragrant curries. Each dish is beautifully presented, reflecting the restaurant’s attention to detail and pride in their cuisine.
The ambiance is equally impressive. Elegant décor, ambient lighting, and a soothing playlist create a cozy yet upscale atmosphere that’s perfect for a romantic dinner, family gathering, or even a casual catch-up with friends. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve, adding a personal touch to the whole experience.
Whether you’re a longtime lover of Indian food or a curious newcomer, Mystica Indian Restaurant offers something memorable for every palate. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic flavors and a top-tier...
Read moreOverall disappointing. Normally poppadoms are complimentary or at least the sauces are. Here you had to pay for each. After we were given that we had to grab their attention after 10mins to try and order food. (even though we were the only people in the restaurant). Mango lassi was not very tasty. The starter was good. When asked for coke, I was shocked to see him at the bar pouring from a big bottle of coke into a glass and then bringing a small bottle along to pretend as if this was freshly opened. (the small bottle was empty). As you may know from restaurant visits that normally they half fill the glass and leave half bottle. Here we had an empty bottle and not sure if it was a 330ml glass. (I.e paying for more possibly).
Then the biggest shock was that we ordered a chicken korma and a butter chicken. One dish looked yellowish like korma. And the other brownish like butter chicken. However to my horror both dishes tasted the same. They basically added colour to the korma and called it butter chicken. Shocking! Nan was tasty.
When I told them it tastes the same his answer was that they are similar Style dishes. They contain same Ingridents expect butter. Now I have had butter chicken before and very well know it tastes nothing like korma.
However I was very disappointed. I also felt it wasn't worth the price we paid.
I would not recommend this restaurant. If you don't have a choice and have to go then try the nan, starters and one...
Read moreFollowing a friend's recommendation and despite the mixed reviews here on Google we decided to give Mystica a chance last Friday night.
Our party of 5 were delighted we did so!
The food was absolutely lovely, the staff were attentive and accommodating and very friendly.
We could be thought of as a difficult party to entertain as one of us was a 1 year old and one is a vegan.
The staff provided a high chair for the little one which was greatly appreciated and the staff even joined in with his game of 'throw all the things on the floor' by picking up the toys he was launching across the room. Had I been a waiter I would have been giving our party evil looks all night, but they took it all in their stride!
The vegan diet was catered for with ease (most places we visit has us struggling to cobble together a decent meal) and they were very happy with the bespoke dish put together and even raved so much about the exquisite taste that we all had to try. A very nice dish indeed.
The rest of the food was also delicious.
I will be highly recommending to all that will listen and will be visiting...
