A welcome cafe offering food with a Portuguese twist in Chertsey. Whilst it was terribly busy and struggling to cope when I visited on a weekday lunchtime, I still liked this place; the popularity being proof of the quality offered here. A friendly family run place they take care with their products and with their customers. A wonderful parade of sweet treats are available, Portugal seemingly blessed with a wonderful range of pastries, which make a wonderful breakfast bite. At lunchtime there is a nice menu to select from and what I especially liked, as a vegetarian, was that when ordering the vegetarian club sandwich I was asked 'are you vegetarian?'. 'Why ask me this?' I wondered as I responded 'yes' and the response was that they would take care to keep the meat away from my ingredients when preparing then. Quality! Read moreWhat a little gem! Coffee is divine and the food was amazing. I ordered a prawn sandwich and it was fully loaded with prawns. No skimping or being short changed here. Lovely to hear local Italian people meeting up and chatting always a good sign of an authentic eatery.
