Big Boys Pizza (Sittingbourne) — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

Ordered from here this evening. The customisation they did for my son’s kids’ meal was spot on and I was grateful. They didn’t issue the accompanying drink but that was OK - they’re busy. A can of Pepsi max isn’t a big deal. I called and was told they’d add to “next order”.

I also ordered a salad in pitta bread. The pitta was on the bottom of box (not toasted) the salad placed on the top. When attempting to put the salad into it, I struggled, as you can imagine from photos. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Nothing special. Average pizza at best. Sent me an email saying they would let me know when it was being delivered but they didn't. No problem as I was ready for delivery. Then they added 75p transaction fee. Why? I ordered online and paid cash so what was the transaction fee for? Plenty of other pizza places to choose from. As for the reply below, you're not Uber or Deliveroo and just because they add a transaction fee doesn't mean you have to. Uber etc claim it's to cover their bank transaction fee, which is unfair in itself, but you charged a fee even though I paid in cash. Just be upfront about it and add it to the price of the pizza rather than adding it once the food is ordered. It's only pennies but I'm sure you do very well out of those unnecessary...

Having left a less than generous review in the past which really didn't give them credit they deserved I decided to remove and repost ...a vast majority of reviews on here are pretty much on the spot ...the couple that complain about the food turning up cold must have had it delivered....now I don't know about you....but driving in Sittingbourne is a joke...it's just a nightmare... especially around 5:30 to 7pm which can lead to quite long delays...might I suggest that if you can't appreciate the drivers efforts and attempts to get to you on time that you actually get up off your backside and collect it ? ...don't slag off the delivery drivers....,faced what they put up with day in day out they deserve a...
