Greggs — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

Hate leaving bad reviews, but feedback is key. Few times visited now, didn’t review initially as they’d just opened so gave them the benefit. Not this time unfortunately. One of the worst Greggs I’ve ever been to. They are either under staffed or they are all just very very slow. No urgency at all from the staff and no thanks for waiting either! Basic stuff! Queues far too long. Pastries are always cold. More than 4 visits not once have the sausage rolls been hot. One time queued in drive through for 10 minutes to be told the sausage rolls would be ready in another 10 minutes when we got to the ordering. Bearing in mind it’s a bakery, sausage rolls should be constantly available and hot. One on high street is about the only one in Sittingbourne you’re guaranteed a hot pastry, petrol station is bad too. This drive through I would avoid at all costs. Seriously letting the ‘Greggs’ brand down.

2nd visit. Told at drive thru 16 minutes for sausage rolls. Couldn’t wait that long but got stuck in drive thru as only one lane and they took nearly 10 mins to...

So came here again after my last disappointing attendance, in the hope it had improved over the months. How wrong was I? Very it seems.

I ordered two HOT baguettes, a HOT sausage roll and a HOT latte, along with my partners order. I had my dog in the car so didn't get time to check the entire order but got home to find I had two cold baguettes ( which hadn't even been toasted ), a sausage roll that was hot at some point in its life, but at this point was stone cold and partially stale, and a latte that was luke warm at most.

Extremely disappointing, all the staff in the store were running sound like headless chickens ( despite there only being myself and one car behind me ) I also found the staff quite rude also.

Greggs, the drive thru is a great idea, don't let this be your first...

Ordered on uber for a delivery and paid for two packs of sausage rolls and a small pizza box ,received one pack of sausage rolls and the pizza so called the Sittingbourne unit where it came from and got someone with an attitude who offered to retrain the person responsible , I did query that someone would need training to count to two . When I asked about the missing items I was offered the chance to drive to them to get it or have a refund when I questioned this he sarcastically said he wasn’t going to get in his car and drive to me really rubbish...
