Heights of Alma & The Shack At The Back — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

This is a hidden gem on the island, i can't believe I've not been before, it was my first time visiting today, we sat outside to eat, it's absolutely beautiful out there in the sun, staff were so friendly and checked if we were happy etc, very helpful too.

The food was really good priced and the presentation was just rediculously spot on, looked and tasted like it should have cost more, food was fresh and the chilli con carne was actually the best I've ever had, I couldn't fault a single thing about it! And i am so fussy usually lol!

Basically spent the whole time I was there just telling my mate how much I was enjoying the food, lol, I was so stuffed but ate every bit coz it just tasted so lovely.

Gonna make this my regular place to eat from now on, coz of the price and quality of the food, and beautiful outdoor seating, compared to other places I usually go, this is top choice for me now.

There's a wide range of choice on the menu, I'm really looking forward to going back with the kids and trying the different dishes out!

As a long back from when I was about 12 years old I had going to the pub, not drinking at the time but going to play pool drinking coca with my friends to with this day I still do. It has change hands a few times over the years and it's been the best years so far still a wonderful place to bring kids in the day time with a very nice garden even better in the summer times with BBQ'S. This gem of a pub, in the heart of Sheerness, has been our local for the last 7 months. We have fallen absolutely in love with everything about the pub. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is great and the chefs are very accommodating. They even have a gluten free menu. The beer garden is perfect for a family lunch and the best of all is they are pet friendly.
