Arizona Diner & Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

Sheerness high street has some pretty good cafes and eateries. Two or three serve very good food at reasonable prices. This is one of them. American style diner serving very good burgers, hot dogs, jacket potatoes, milk shakes and deserts. I have been told that the meaty versions are very good but I am vegetarian so I particularly like the fact that all the burgers and hot dogs are available in vegetarian dishes. And served with a generous portion of fried onions they are very nice. Oh, and I forgot to mention the breakfasts which I think are all day, very tasty and also available vegetarian. I don't normally have room in my tummy for a desert which disappoints me because the waffles are delicious. One very slight minus point, the cappuccinos have a good amount of froth but for me are a bit too milky. They don't use card payments, so make sure you have enough cash to pay. At times they are very busy, always a good sign. Not sure but I think there is one afternoon during the week they are not open. Well...

First visit since the refit today. The decor is nice and it's good to see the fluorescent lighting has gone. The cans of drink, bottle of water and the Ribena carton we received weren't refrigerated - they were so warm the ice in the glasses melted in minutes so didn't help cool the drinks. Couldn't finish mine. We found the burgers are a little too 'burger van' to feel like we were treating ourselves to a meal out. It's a good place for a quick bite to eat on a weekday but I wouldn't bother for a weekend treat again. Also, 8 years on and it's still a cash-only...

A great American themed diner in Sheerness town centre. Great selection of food including all day breakfasts, burgers, hot dogs, omelettes to name but a few. For me the highlights are the chilli dog and the chicken kebab, very tasty food. The diner is licensed with a good selection of drinks and they also do cocktails, but do try the milkshakes, the strawberry one is amazing.
