Beano Cafe Sheerness — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

I visited the Beano cafe with my partner just as it was closing. The chairs were being stacked and staff getting ready to leave. We asked if they were still open, they said yes and proceeded to provide us with a full mixed grill. I can honestly say that it’s the best I’ve ever had, beating some top places in the size of the portions and the perfect way in which it was cooked! I’m a very slow eater, but they waited patiently until I had finished and were so kind and polite. I’m 69 and have eaten at many restaurants both high end in London, chain restaurants and transport cafes, this, in my opinion, is the best mixed grill I’ve ever had ! Very reasonable priced especially as a coffee or tea is included. Had All Day Breakfast yummy yummy, my friend had fried bread instead of toast which she said it was really good, hash browns were lively and crispy and not oily, nice big long sausage with lots of mushrooms, fried egg and beans all for under £7 Had we realised we would have also ordered the black pudding that the table next to us had as they said was very good. Food was not bad, bit greasy spoon-ish. Got jump on as soon as we come in door for drinks. Just got coats off and was putting babybum in high chair when she was back again for food order, never even open the menu..... Felt really rushed. The lassy keep going into toilet, was about 10 times in the 30 mins we was there?!? Was good with babybum though and gave her some books y we was there to keep entertain. All food orders was rite, even with fussy old me 😊 just felt rushed...
