Rumour — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

I was a big fan of rumours but not after Today . I usually go in once a week for my weekly breakfast and a coffee . Today my food was freezing cold . I drank my coffee and went to the desk to pay . I expressed the disappointment with my meal and the manager ( lady with glasses ) spoke down to me infront of all of the other customers “ why didn’t you say anything earlier “? “ just have it for free all of it “ . I offered to pay for my coffee . Her attitude was disgusting . She gave me all the head movements and rolled her eyes it was honestly some of the worst customer Service I have ever experienced . I will also be having words with my work colleagues and telling them to avoid this place at all costs . I was appalled at how I was spoken to especially being a frequent customer who by the way never received a loyalty card like the other people who attend this restaurant . Just had Dinner at Rumour, with their new weekend evening Mexican menu. Absolutely incredible. Had a beef Burrito and Mega nachos with chicken. No pictures I’m afraid because I’m rubbish and always forget to take them.

Food was incredible, I love Mexican food and this was right up there with one of the best Burritos I’ve ever had. Ian looked after us and he was really nice as well, very welcoming and chatty which I really like in a restaurant. Kerry is the chef and she’s obviously very talented. They let us try a Mexican Pizza that they might bring to the menu, and that was incredible as well so keep your eyes peeled for that.

If I could give 10 stars I would....

I brought my daughter in Who is a very Picky eater and She chose this cafe because she loves their toast. We don’t eat out often because of her eating habbits she gets a little stressed sometimes so makes it harder to enjoy but today we went to rumour and she got her toast then Decided to try bacon, sausage, egg and mushrooms and loved it all! You have managed to get my daughter to like sausage and mushrooms and thats a huge thing in our House. She also tried carrot cake for the first time and enjoyed that too!
