Mem's Meze Restaurant — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

I have been visiting many restaurants around the UK, especially in London since I am living it in. Mem’s Meze Restaurant is around 60 miles away from us but no matter how far it is, it will be our first choice from now on. It is the first week that dining-in restrictions have been lifted in the UK, we have experienced a safe, spacious atmosphere. Unlike the other restaurants, you don’t squeeze with other visitors, you feel your own space with every table got their own fresh ambiance with ambitious atmosphere. All staff welcomes you in with great smile and serving you hand sanitisers to keep environment COVID-19 free. I can definitely recommend to anyone who is still unsure since protecting theirselves due to COVID-19.

Food- 10/10

The quality of food, taste is just amazing. Everyone who is able to visit this restaurant should definitely take a try on this wonderful taste, you will see the “real taste”. It is unlikely that will experience this food quality in any other restarts around the UK. Personally we had mixed kebab platter with mix meze menu, meat was great in terms of quality, taste, softness and spice. Meze was especially great with variety choices are available and some meze are unique to Mem’s Restaurant. Our choice of wine was a great special for this type of food.

Service- 10/10

There are many staff available in the bar and restaurant section. They are all smiling to visitors and giving the best service, everything a visitor can wish for. Since there are many number of staff and they are all very interested with visitors, they will definitely notice if you need something which make service lightning fast.

Atmosphere- 11/10

I can’t describe the atmosphere with any words. You should see it. This elegant special design makes the place very unique. You can refer to photos shared by customers to understand what I mean by this.

Well, if this is not worth a BIG OMG! then nothing is

We treated ourselves to a Mem's takeaway, which they do advertise as a service that they offer. We did get a "surprised" reception when we went in and asked for a takeaway, so can only assume that mainly folk eat in there or place ordered the phone for take away.

Having placed the order, a mixed starter for two and a main each, we were advised it would be 20 minutes, so went for a walk. The food was ready in 35 minutes from ordering at 17:00 on a Thursday evening, so telephoning is probably the better option in future.

On getting home and trying the food, it really did have the WOW factor, big time! Yes, it's an expensive take away, this was £40 for two of us, but the quality and taste was simply outstanding. Would we go again, oh yes! Would we recommend them, absolutely we would. Next time we will book a table...

We booked a table for 2030 tonight (Saturday 1st October) turned up to have a drink before our meal. The place was busy but thought good atmosphere, took us along time to get a drink at the bar…so long that the waitress had noticed and told the staff to serve us. Got our drinks and was almost time for our table, so went to check in and he said wait few mins (no problem). There was a couple in front of us also waiting, the man offered them a dark table in middle of the toilet door and front door; you wouldn’t even we able to read the Menu or see your food, they refused the table and left.
