I was really disappointed with my recent order. Due to allergies I have not been able to enjoy pizza for a long time, so I was looking forward to trying the gluten free option.
Firstly, it is only available in small or medium, and the medium is actually smaller than the regular version by about two inches, which feels very unfair.
Secondly, the chicken wings were shockingly tiny, with all four together adding up to barely two bites in total, and certainly not worth the price.
I understand gluten free flour can cost more, but with the already high mark up at Pizza Hut, you would expect a gluten free option that is comparable to the regular menu. Pizza Express and even the fresh counter at Morrisons offer far better choices. Until Pizza Hut catch up, I will not be returning.
It feels especially unfair when gluten free for allergies is treated with less care than the vegan options.
As for the Sittingbourne branch itself, orders are often late and staff are not the friendliest. I appreciate it can be busy, but this does not encourage me...
Read moreThe Pizza Hut pizza you get these days is very different to the Pizza Hut of the past. It’s a lot more ‘standard’ these days and doesn’t stand out from the pack like it once did.
This little Pizza Hut delivery popped up last year - there used to be a restaurant in town, but it closed in 2021 and didn’t do delivery- and is a good addition, particularly now Papa John’s has closed.
The toppings on the Pizza Hut meat feast are very good. The base is average, but ok. The choice of sides is pretty poor overall, nothing there I really want.
Ordered online and delivery was pretty prompt; although they need to provide some sort of navigation aid for their drivers if they aren’t local.
The offers were decent; two for £20 seemed pretty cheap. The cherry Pepsi max was unwelcome though 😆
First had Pizza Hut in 1994. 30 years ago. That’s pretty good going...
Read moreTried Pizza Hut twice now, I’m a big pizza fan and to be honest PH these wete probably the worst and overpriced priced pizzas I’ve had. We’ve been to many independent pizzerias/Italian restaurants and have never been so dissatisfied. More than half the pizza is left over and destined for the bin. Drier than the sahar desert (not sure if you actually put any base on?) supposedly extra cheese? Might have been 2 spoons worth on. Base was so thick like a French baguette in each slice, and we were lucky if we had one piece of pepperoni on a slice although it being a pepperoni supreme. Tried twice, disappointed twice Loads more places out there with so much better...
