Wimpy — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

Today I visited the Wimpy in Sittingbourne. It’s situated in Sittingbourne Highstreet.

I entered the premises and sat down and was promptly approached to order my meal. My meal arrived within ten minutes; Copious amounts of Chips, that tasted great! A lovely Half Pounder Burger that was magnificent! I also added Cheese and Bacon, that definitely added to the overall flavour, in abundance. I washed my meal down with an exquisite Strawberry Milkshake that was so refreshing and the perfect choice for my tastebuds.

Soothing Music was playing in the background which provided a perfect, relaxing atmosphere.

The Premises are huge and very clean and tidy. The Booth seating was super comfortable. Toilets are available at the rear of the premises.

The Wimpy had professional, friendly and attentive staff.

The only slight downside is that the price for the food is expensive! But you get a next level of taste to compensate for the price tag! Top level tasting food.

Terrible food! Came in as had not seen/been in wimpy for years. Very clean and friendly staff but the food is less quality than war rations. Had a texas bbq burger, could not take bbq burger was dripping fluid out basic cheap bun, had no real taste and was very wet, chips again just basic cheap ones and not fully cooked. Ketchup is like watered down cheap ketchup. Milkshake was drinkable but I had banana and could see the dark yellow old style syrup making its way to the bottom and not enjoyable at all. Not great to be honest. Not the nice wimpy from yesteryear. Looks nice from the outside. As we walked in was presented with a waitress who admittedly put us to another waitress saying thier for you. Sat down another waitress asked for our drinks and food, not even looked at the menu by this point. Took the drink order, before the drinks arrive another waitress asked for our order again. Meal was ok a bit bland but with the combination of the radio and my count 13 staff sitting at table and standing at the counter all talking and laughing just so loud.
