Terrible! Obviously a TAX DODGE!

There are never any customers in this place! Arrived and tried to get a table, was told there were no tables available until 45 minutes later, there were two people in a restaurant that could hold over 100. Had a drink, back 45 minutes later and there were 6 people in the restaurant and was told if we want a table we would need to be out within 30 mins as other tables were booked. I pointed to 16 tables that were not occupied, I also pointed to the four tables in the foyer, "we are not serving outside"... it's still inside. The man who was on the till explained that they were on a restricted seating basis due to Covid. Covid restrictions ended a month ago. At no point did the government say only 2 people are allowed in a 100 + capacity restaurant. We had dinner elsewhere and came back ( at the time when the staff member said there was no available seating) to have a game of shuffleboard. There were 4 people in there. There are never any customers in this place! it is obviously a Barton...

We were so happy to find this restaurant. They have lots of plant based options and also cater for gluten free and other dietary needs. Blooms is situated in an modern and stylish activity centre which offers bowling, curling, crazy pool, crazy golf and a luxury cinema. We both ordered the vegan curry which was tasty and came quickly. We also treated ourselves to a vegan sundae for dessert! Thebprices are not cheap but we felt it was fair for what we had, considering the area and the cost of food these days. The service was attentive and the restaurant has curved booths so you feel quite private even though other diners are quite nearby. We loved it here and will definitely be back! Don't forget to check out the toilets as their design...

I don’t think “sorry we’re busy” is a valid excuse in the restaurant industry for poor service…. Firstly we where met with “table for 2” no hello or what I wanted to hear “you will have a 45 minute wait between starters and mains”

The chap then proceeded to walk away to the middle of the restaurant area, at this point I assumed he wanted me to follow him…

When the starters came out mine was left half hanging off the table by the lady that brought it, never had that before.

3/4 of an hour later the mains came, my daughter’s chicken burger was so hard she had to soak it in ketchup. By this point I’d given up… We made our issues known on leaving and got the busy excuse, I wouldn’t...
