I hate leaving negative reviews but this experience took the biscuit. Granted it was Xmas week so it was busy but when the staff move at a snail's pace (possibly leaving a silver trail behind them), it's not going to help things. Took ages to be seated by someone who really didn't want to be there but sadly that was the peak of our visit. Usually there is so much food that you need a Take Home box but this time there was just enough....3 1/4 sliced sandwiches, small cup of soup...no pie or sausage roll, a scone, butter, jam and cream and 4 tiny cakes...y friend ate everything but one tiny cake. Quite disappointed. I'll be going to Scorton Barn in future and paying £18...for that you get tons. Staff absolutely lovely, everything tasted lovely but it felt...
