Dara Shawarma — Restaurant in Bradford

Ordered a Chicken Shawarma. Opened it & it smelt like fish. Working in the food industry myself - it’s a huge red flag (chicken has gone bad). I still picked a small piece out of my wrap & tasted it - the chicken was definitely bad. I went in to tell the owner who refused to accept that the chicken was bad & even after I advised not to continue selling the owner just took £4 out of the till & gave me my money back. At first i thought the pricing was really good but I had second thoughts after buying. The food itself was nice and fresh. I got the mixed sharwama with chips (£5.00). However the portion size was quite bad, felt like a handful of chicken and meat sharwama and even the chips. We did order over phone yet it still took a lot of time upon collection. Although the food was nice I was still hungry after the meal so maybe not the right choice for those with a big appetite... Boss man did give a drink on...

Place opened up recently. Amazing atmosphere, very clean environment and food made freshly in front of you so you can be sure that it's all fresh and not frozen stuff. Good value for money and the owner is very friendly and nice to talk to. Generally would recommend and in my opinion one of the best shawarma and Turkish takeaway places in bradford, and probably the best I've ever had personally....
