BBQ Express — Restaurant in Bradford

BBQ express was my local place for grilled food . I ordered from bbq regularly . However a couple of months ago I went too collect my food as usual and asked for a tub of chilli sauce as the tubs are the size of my thumb nail. The gentleman serving myself took out a tub . The owner or manager pointed out to me in a rude manner the tub was an extra 40p . I then explain I have spent over £20.00 and come here regularly . I was spoken to in a very poor and unprofessional manor I was totally disgusted with the customer service . I was told it is what it is. Do you want the sauce . I then told the owner it’s not about the money but the way I have been spoken too it has been appalling . There was no remorse or apology . My reply was brother I will not be coming here after the service I have received . I was told if that’s how you feel , that’s how you feel .

I’ve been ordering for years and my recent experiences have been absolutely horrendous. I ordered some wings and chips and the amount of chips you get wouldn’t even suffice for a child’s portion. The wings were genuinely some of the smallest wings I’ve seen with only 1/5 being a normal sized wings. They’ve increased the price but massively dropped the standards. It’s not like it’s once. I’m not one to write bad reviews but I’m genuinely surprised at how low the standards are. If it was a one off I would’ve let it go but in the last couple or so I’ve ordered about 3/4 times and each time the portion sizes were abysmal. Customers beware, do not pay for any food using a debit or credit card in this takeaway! I usually pay with cash but this one time paid with my card, within 45 mins of leaving and going home to eat the food I received a text msg from my bank stating this takeaway attempted to make a fraudulent transaction on my card to the sum of £43 over the internet

I knew straight away it was them as I had not used my card anywhere else. So blatant had not even been an hour that I had been to BBQ and they tried using my card details to buy things online.
