Ok this place is due an update on my last review so here it is.....
2 years one pandemic and one endemic and what can I say its got to be one star simply because the place is so bloody good I'm never going to be able to book a table to eat at this fabulous amazing eatery and it's just so close to home that would be a tragedy.
So please I beg you if you like your food well cooked and tastes amazing and love a cozy but upbeat atmosphere that is family friendly then this is not the place for you go to macdonalds so that I don't have to book a table at the beat kept secret in Shipley!!
Thank you again for such a great night its a treat that your on our doorstep.
Fab place, little small and cozy cos should be much bigger for how good this place is!

Read moreThis was our first visit to Sambuca ( a recommendation) and our dinner was spot on !! Warm welcome on arrival , drinks order taken quickly and then we considered our options on the menu , whether your desire is pizza, pasta , steak etc you will not be disappointed. There were 5 of us and all ordered different starters and mains , starters included meat balls , aubergine , prawns , mains fillet steak , calzone , tortellini and an outstanding Diavola pizza ... outstanding food , cooked to perfection. Then it was time to sing , song sheets handed out and everyone joined in to sing " That's Amore " which was great fun. We finished with deserts but struggled a bit as the starters and mains are good sized portions. We also had complimentary shots of Sambuca which was a nice touch. Waiting staff were lovely and looked after us very well but the winners here are the chefs & kitchen staff who produced outstanding food ( hope my pictures do it justice ) Absolutely no hesitation in...
Read moreI recently took advantage of their incredible Sunday to Thursday deal: two courses for just £12.95. What a steal! To start, I went with the bruschetta, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the topping was fresh, vibrant, and seasoned just right. It was a great indication of the quality to come. For my main, I opted for a pizza, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The crust was exactly how I like it – crispy on the outside with a nice chew, and the toppings were fresh and generously applied. It was clear they use quality ingredients, and the pizza was cooked to perfection. Overall, Sambica offers fantastic food at an unbeatable price point, especially with that weekday deal. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was efficient. I'd highly recommend...
