The Wrose Bull: A Perfect Family Night Out!
Our family of four had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Wrose Bull on the evening of January 27th, 2025. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub itself is charming, with a lovely ambiance that made us feel instantly comfortable.
We decided to stay for dinner, and we were so glad we did! The food was absolutely superb – clearly made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Every dish was delicious, and there was something to please everyone in our family. Honestly, it was one of the best pub meals we've had in a long time.
But what truly elevated our experience was the incredible staff. Katie and Guy were absolutely brilliant! Their friendly and attentive service made us feel like valued guests. They were so helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening. Their genuine warmth and enthusiasm truly shone through.
We honestly cannot fault a single thing about our visit to The Wrose Bull. The combination of delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service from Katie, Guy, and the rest of the team makes this pub a true gem. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Wrose Bull to anyone looking for a fantastic place to eat and drink. Whether you're a family, a couple, or just looking for a great night out, you won't be disappointed! We'll definitely...
Read moreI was very pleasantly surprised by my visit to the Wrose Bull. The building is well maintained, internally it is modern and well appointed. A super and very clear menu layout. The staff were efficient and friendly in a non-obsequious way. I had a large G&T from the bar which seemed really well stocked, and clean shiny surfaces. There were lots of diners of all ages, it seems very popular with locals, and like me, first timers. I placed my order at the bar and sat back to await my meal, I had originally asked for a ribeye steak with the usual steakhouse fixings, unfortunately, unavailable today, so I had a rump steak instead. Should anyone want to know how to fry an egg properly! come here and check one out. The steak arrived promptly twenty minutes later served on sizzling platter, hot and tasty, however the steak was tough, not enough for me to send back, but remarkable just the same. The latest school of thought is, to rest steaks for a few minutes before service. If a steak is placed straight on to sizzling plate, this may compound the problem. My only other niggle, was although extremely nice waiting staff made sure everything was okay to start with, I was not asked how I was enjoying my meal afterwards. This happens a lot in "chain" restaurants," just saying!" Overall a well priced menu, and excellent service, I do plan to go back in the very near future. Definite contender for destination lunch time...
Read more"You provisional driving licence is obviously one of the first thing you will need to obtain when you decide you want to learn how to drive. However, it can also be used as a form of identification to getting into nightclubs, served drinks in pubs and bars and buying certain products in supermarkets such as knives and alcohol". This is from the DVLA website but apparently it's not good enough for the staff at the wrose bull who said a provisional licence is not a valid form of I'd, and refused to serve my 22 year old son in response to your response, if you are referring to the thi k 25 and challenge 25 it states a driving licence is an acceptable form of I'd. Nowhere does it state it has to be a full licence. In any case its academic. Hes a popular lad and theres plenty of places he drinks regularly safe to say they wont be adding your establishment to the list. Unfortunate you've managed to alienate a large group of potential customers with plenty of disposable income, at a time when the hospitality industry as a whole is struggling. You have a...
