Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Bradford

Visited the drive through this morning and asked for an Iced Pumpkin Spiced Latte. I was advised I needed to be registered on the app, which I found odd, but thought fair enough that drink isn’t offered all year around so they must want to offer it to members.

Trying to be helpful and to keep things moving along, I decided to order something else.

Anyway, there was a bit of a delay at the drive through, so whilst waiting I realised I had the app, so I asked for a spiced latte in addition to what I had ordered. I was told I would need to come back around to place my order. For a bit to context, there was only one car behind me.

The jist of it is, they can make you wait but won’t allow the least bit of flexibility the other way. The girl who served me didn’t apologise and was pretty nonchalant when I said I’d leave a bad review.

Not impressed and will certainly not be visiting this...

Went in early afternoon when it wasn't busy (about 5 other people in the place). There were two staff; one serving and another doing purely online orders. About half of the tables were dirty as there was nobody to clean them, so we had to pick a table based on how its level of hygiene rather than where we actually wanted to sit.

On the plus side, the staff serving us were very pleasant and the drinks were up to standard. There's just a little bit missing on how the place is managed, and the priorities

Early afternoon on a Tuesday may well be a graveyard shift, but you judge a place by how it operates in the downtime - because that's where the company culture should shine for better or worse - and this one was a little on the badly kept side.

Pretty good for a no-name cafe, but unfortunately not up to Starbucks standard on this...

I called at the Rooley Lane branch, this morning, at exactly 8:27. The door was open and the stand had been placed outside. I walked through the door to be met by two ladies with their backs to me. I walked to the counter and waited to be acknowledged. After a short while one of them turned round and said "we're not open yet" . I must have had a look of surprise on my face as she turned to her colleague and asked her the time. Turning back to me she stated " We don't open for another 5 minutes " ! ! I ask you........talk about 'jobsworth ' . Not as if it's licensed premises and breaking a law.........all for the sake of, at best , two minutes............by gmt ! Strange........as the website says 8am !
