The Peacock Bar — Restaurant in Bradford

If I could give a zero I would. Great atmosphere, great music, lovely bar staff - truly vile security/ door staff. Tonight I visited peacock bar for the first and last time. I visited, just myself and a female colleague. She was anxious about using the conveniences, I told her I’d make sure she was safe. She got in to the loo, I opened the door and made sure no one else was in there, she had difficulty with the split door, i assisted. I went back out of the loo. I was accosted by a very large man who told me “the camera seen us going in to shag”. I’m not an unobvious homosexual, but putting the semantics aside the timings wouldn’t allow that in less than 60 seconds. I laughed it off and hoped she hadn’t heard, she had heard and apologised, we were both embarrassed. I was outside the loos, she came out. We went downstairs. We were escorted out by a very aggressive Asian man, I won’t repeat the terms he used to initiate the exchange (nor the response I gave) but we didn’t have an option to revisit the bar which was truly insulting. Awful place, awful biases, disgusting attitudes and very narrow minded and aggressive attitudes. Presumably the security guards are there to protect their guests, which they failed to do. The gentleman insulted us then closed the electronic shutters. Disgusting behaviour which I intend to pursue. I feel for the staff who work so hard for the rapport...

Curry and beer! This place is amazing, great atmosphere - really friendly staff and the curry is wonderful! Well worth a visit on North Parade - good selection of drinks and fantastic fresh food, the starters are so good to nibble while having a pint. Altogether this place is great, good service, nice atmosphere and location - go check it! Met up with friends Saturday afternoon at Peacocks. It's a lovely little friendly bar with a great vibe. I love the seats and cushions. There's a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The rugby was on TV so there was a lovely atmosphere. Our favourite bar...

Watched the euro finals what a atmosphere and a brilliant service from everyone from start to finish. Real good customer service these people know how to make this place better than the rest absolutely amazed by them going that extra mile in making people feel welcomed. This is how to run a bar definitely will be going back there would definitely rate this place to go. Will be back again definitely with a few...
