Favorite Chicken & Ribs Witham — Restaurant in Braintree

If I could give 0 stars I would! So was greeted by a lovely young girl who took my order! Kindly she told me the strips were cold and she would cook more! I didn’t mind waiting that was fine until…. The boss came back in and started to make my wrap with the chicken I was just told is cold! I waited to see what he did and to my horror he gave me a cold bag of chicken! I played along and asked nicely if he had put extra sauce in my wrap and he shouted at me and told me I didn’t order extra sauce! I looked at the young lady who took my order and asked her did I ask you for extra sauce she said yes he did at this point he was certain he had put extra sauce! To save any argument I left the shop explaining I would never be back and that he has no right to talk to me like that he was so rude I was disgusted! To confirm the wrap didn’t have extra sauce like I asked the chicken was ice cold I threw it all in the bin I’ll never go back! I suggest mo’s Piri piri if you want chicken in Witham I repeat do NOT go to favourite chicken Witham the worst chicken shop in uk!!! Rudest...

Went here for the first time on Friday night with quite a disappointing experience. I must say though, the staff are very friendly and the service is pretty quick, no complaints about the service at all, and if the food was edible the prices are very affordable and competitive for the area. It's just a shame the quality of the food is so poor, the chicken sub had so much off brand mayo in it that all I could taste was mayo nothing else to the point I couldn't finish it even though I'd been looking forward to trying this place all day. The chicken seemed average at best too but I couldn't really tell since the cheap mayo ruined the taste of everything else. The fries were decent though so I'll add a star for that. They park illegally in the bus stop bay out the front of the shop, hindering all bus users especially people pushing prams and even more so elderly or wheelchair users as the bus can not get anywhere near the curb to let these people on, then when going in to make a civil complaint they will argue with you about it clearly showing their customer service is less than pitiful. On top of that their delivery drivers laugh at customers with complaints. They lie about the fact theyre alloud by council to park out the front of the shop as the council would not agree to let people park illegally.
