A Hidden Gem in Finchingfield

I recently visited this delightful tearoom in the heart of Finchingfield, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the aroma of freshly brewed tea & coffee and cakes.

The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The menu had a fantastic selection of teas and treats.

The location is just perfect, with picturesque views of the village green and duck pond. It’s the ideal spot to relax and soak in the charm of one of England’s most beautiful villages.

Small tearoom in the picturesk village of Finchingfield. The teashop overlooks the village green. Nice setting. Our group of 13 cyclists (pre booked) were welcomed by the proprietor. Our drinks order was taken quickly and the drinks delivered promptly. Cake was had allround, again delivered promptly. There was a good selection of vittles; coffee and cake were very nice. Due to covid-19, there is only a take away service at the door. However, lots of lovely cakes, sausage rolls or even pasties on offer. The Tearoom is by the pond at Finchingfield with a few benches around the green to sit on. If no seating available and coming via car, it would be a good idea to bring a picnic rug to sit on the grass and enjoy the surrounding view on a dry day of course.
