A lovely cafe slap bang in the centre of town. You can sit outside in the Museum courtyard overlooking the Town Hall with it's nice new garden, the market square and the shiny new health centre and hotel building. A really nice spot to stop for a snack.
Top marks for your drinks and cake, my coffee was very nice and the Bakewell Blondie as well. Everyone else enjoyed their rockyroads and milkshakes. The guy taking our order accommodated my fussy Americano installations perfectly, it was a good drink.
I like the modern clean interior and counter, all very professional. The old black and white museum exhibit photos are interesting, but a little bland. I tried their lavender-infused latte, which was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and had just the right floral hint. Paired with their homemade rosemary scone, it was a match made in heaven! The staff were incredibly attentive, offering genuine smiles and even recommending a few local spots to explore. What truly set this cafe apart was the little details: handwritten notes on the menu, a small shelf of board games for patrons, and the barista’s knack for...

I remember getting a quick coffee from their previous location years ago so was pleasantly surprised to find them in a more spacious spot in the middle of town.
The food was lovely and good value for money, with my little boy enjoying something from the kids menu. All the staff were very friendly and super accommodating, bringing over a booster seat for our little one and helping us position the pram so we weren't too in the way.
The place really filled up after we arrived which added to the atmosphere, making it a nice, vibrant place to enjoy a coffee and a catch up. We'll...
