I don't dispute the food is good and the staff are excellent, however I would like to say that on two occasions over, the past few weeks, our table booking has been cancelled just three days beforehand. The reason on the first occasion was the England football quarter finals. Apparently, their staff would not be able to get through the expected crowd to serve our meal! The second occasion was blamed on Open Table - they should have known that a family BBQ was booked and should not have accepted our booking. Food was lovely with exception of one starter being returned..but the actual service of food delivery wa notably poor. We waited an hour between starters and mains. We would've had a desert but after a total time of 2 hours we had to leave due to other commitments. Beautiful building and lovely food. I'd just recommend to others to allow time to actually receive their food as it seems our expectations for pre organisation seemed to catch out the staff! Would return if in the area but would allow...
