The Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Breckland District

Popped into our favourite coffee lounge for hot chocolate and cheese scone (cheese scones are the best for miles around especially when heated) It was 10 am on Saturday and already busy, however this didn't affect the service - the girls always had a smile on their faces and couldn't do enough for you. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. We didn't feel rushed as can often be the case in some coffee places. Lots of little spaces with puffy sofas and easy chairs. Up on arrival the staff were very busy at the counter. There was a couple of tables available but these hadn't been cleared. We cleared the table and asked for a cloth to wipe the table down. The staff the apologised saying if they had seen us come in they would have cleared the table. The staff member the proceeded to clean the table. More of a lounge for the adjacent lodge accommodation than a cafe but pleasant with comfortable seating and an open fireplace. There's a good selection of drinks and sweet options available and service is open late which is great. Makes a nice halfway house when travelling to and from Norwich.
