Went to this place for breakfast which is apparently ‘served until 12 noon’. My two friends and I ordered our breakfast at 11.36 ( according to the receipt!) and waited with our tea for over half an hour. I went to check on it’s progress only to be told, ‘ sorry it’s too late so you’ll have to order something else’ I argued the point that we had ordered in plenty of time and paid for three breakfasts, but was told ‘the chef won’t cook it as it’s too late and breakfasts have stopped being served’ I spoke to a member of staff as I had tried to speak to who I believed was the manager, but was only a team leader called Sam. The member of staff didn’t know the complaints procedure, or the name of the team leader. I asked for a pen to write down details as eventually when I did speak to Sam, she was extraordinarily rude! She found a pen and slammed it on the bar! We asked for a refund as Sam was not going to budge in the decision to not serve the breakfast we had ordered. She made no apology, she was extremely rude and then was not gracious enough not to charge for the 3 teas we had, considering we had ordered and paid for breakfast that they decided they would not serve. She blamed the chef! I don’t think I will use this place again. I’ve used it before but since the experience we had on Saturday I won’t set foot in there. Customer service 0 points. Attitude of Sam -10 points. Overall experience, there’s not a low enough score for that!!
