And so it came to pass, that Bristol's only authentic curry society graced the finest Indian Brasserie Chandos Road has to offer. Greeted with the exciting news it was in fact BYO, the host of the evening scuttled down the road to a charming little off license, with intentions of delighting and bedazzling his awaiting brothers.
Thirsty from the first round of poppadoms (ordered without his permission, a Society faux pas no less) the host laid on a spread of exquisite beverages ranging from continental lagers, delicate wines and locally brewed cider. This proved the perfect accompaniment to what can only be described as a bountiful feast, worthy of those accustomed to the way of the naan.
With bellys full and pockets still reassuringly lined with pictures of our fair queen, our fearless chairman savoured the remaining morsels of curry with a drop of his favoured monk brewed wine, before leading his merry band of curry devotees outside for a picture with the fair gents of the establishment.

Food arrived on time and was lovely and hot. I had the garlic chilli chicken which had huge pieces of chicken and it was so tasty and by far the best I've had in this town and it was really spicy just the way I like it.
The garlic naan was lovely and fluffy and the mixed starter was also delicious!! This is going to be my go to Indian take away from now...
