I went in with an injury and I was Helped to a table and they offered me some water. After 15 minutes both the bar staff were looking at their phones and hadn't given it to me so I had to call my boyfriend to ask me to take me home. I offered to pay for something but they didn't take cash. I wanted to show support for the business but that wasn't an option. I'm not sure if this is true according to Andrew. When the old waitress was that it was really friendly but the same staff that she said to speak to ignored me and it was really embarrassing having to put my legs up and ask Other people to help me on the next door table interrupting their conversation. Read moreI'd been wanting to try The Good Measure since they opened their doors, but every time I've walked by its been full to the brim. Finally, on a late Sunday afternoon there were a couple of tables free. We went in to discover about 4 casque ales, 4 keg ales, a couple of lagers and a cider on offer. You'd be hard pushed to find a better selection of beers anywhere with something for everyone. Most are around £5 a pint, but for those after something extra, they had one beer over 10% abv sold by the 1/3 pints. Friendly knowledgeable staff, good beer and decent pub snacks (got to love twiglets for a quid). I just hope one day soon they open up a sister pub that's at least 3...
