We tried this place for the first time last night. What an experience! We were greeted so nicely and explained the menu. The restaurant is lovely and welcoming. As a fairly new fish eater I knew I was taking a risk! What an amazing place to be converted. We kicked off with a mescal margarita which was so good I could have drank it all night! There was the option for a drink flight with the menu which we’ll try next time! The cucumber based cocktail was the perfect pallet cleanser! We tried some wine which was really smooth. Neither of us had tried scallops before, and because they were so fresh and had been so carefully seasoned they were beautiful! Each course was just amazing, with so many different and perfect flavours. The structure of the menu meant that the order of the dishes coming out was perfect, with just the right time between courses. There was an optional extra course which I was jealous of when I saw it come out! We tried to pick a favourite but found it so hard! The arancini was to die for. The Thai course made me question my own cooking because it was the best I’d ever had! (What is the secret!?) All the fish was so fresh. The dessert was chocolate heaven which I never wanted to end, and they topped off the evening with freshly baked gooey cookies as a little treat. Bradley and Charlotte made us feel so welcome. We came away feeling like we’d had an experience rather than just going for dinner. It was a really lovely and memorable treat which we can’t wait to experience again. Thanks so much One Fish Street! We have visited twice now, and both times have been a real culinary and seafood treat! The new smaller location on Fore street is much more quaint and cosy, candle-lit and offering a more intimate experience that is great for couples. There’s even bar seats now to get a front row seat to the action of the kitchen! The food has always been superb. The fish is so fresh and always immaculately cooked, an array of seafood being served across the menu, from crab to lobster to mussels to hake, you name it! There’s a lot of inspiration from Asia, mostly Japan, which is a unique twist on Cornish seafood. Portions aren’t the biggest even for a tasting menu, with some bread or maybe a few more carbs being needed to help bulk a few of the portions out, but by no means did we leave hungry - for the quality and thought of each plate, and the chance to try such amazing and creative food, we were more than satisfied! The team is friendly and greets you with a smile, looking after you throughout the night. It’s a great experience from start to finish, and being able to speak to the chef is just fab! The value is still there and despite rising costs this place always seems to have a cheap (ish) menu relative to other spots of this calibre. Thanks again for a truly wonderful night of eating food that you simply cannot get anywhere else.

St.Ives needed One Fish Street A beautiful storytelling experience through food and wine. Each dish unfolds like a chapter, explained by the team as it's served, offering an immersive dining experience. Its new location has a beautifully intimate, candlelit atmosphere with its limited covers, curating a romantic and close space. If you've not been since the relocation, now is the time to go again. One Fish Street refreshingly revives the town's forgotten fishing history through a love for seafood. The passion and love for food in the staff is contagious, and I guarantee you'll be inspired to have a more creative relationship with food after you've been. The whole team should be proud of the magic that they bring to the St.Ives food scene. Thank you for the perfect birthday evening! x

An absolute treat.

We have been twice now and would go again in a heart beat. This is a truly special place to experience food which has been carefully thought about. So many amazing flavours!

My wife used to hate fish and we decided to just risk it and we are so glad we did!

Her first oyster experience, and first time eating mackerel after insisting she didn’t like it. It was amazing! It goes to show how lovely food can be when it’s flavoured and seasoned perfectly!

We had no idea what was going to be on the menu when we went, and we took the drinks flight too which was such a good idea! So nice to not have to think about it. They’d clearly curated the menu really carefully. We went in with an open mind and we’re blown away!

Service was impeccable.Charlotte was so attentive and it was so refreshing to eat somewhere like this and be made to feel so comfortable. You can tell they really put their heart into the place and it shows.

Sadly Jo never wants to cook again because it’ll never be as good as this!

We left feeling so satisfied but not bogged down by loads of stodgy courses and bread. Just amazing flavours, great local produce and delicious drinks.

We will be back ASAP!

If you’re wondering whether to book. DO IT!

Thank you so much Bradley,...
