Fast food my @r£e. Popped into this maccy ds as the que for the drive thru was ridiculous on Sunday lunchtime. Granted was busy, lots of families, the usual maccy ds users. First thing to go wrong was the paper had run out on the order screen so no receipt, little visit to customer services, sorted relatively easily. Then the wait began......20 minutes? No 30 minutes? No 40 minutes? No 50 minutes? No An hour???? Yes! You may say more fool you for waiting but it got to the stage where I was starving and didn't want to waste time going elsewhere. Now, I mean no disrespect with this comment, but, I think a bit of adult supervision wouldn't have gone a miss (no one looked over the age of 21) and a little bit more urgency in the speed that some of them were working wouldn't have gone amiss. One particular employee I wanted shake vigorously to see if he was actually alive. As they were slowly getting through the orders (getting most of them wrong in the respect that they should have been Takeaway not eat in) another customer and I noticed that a few people that had ordered 15 minutes after us were getting their food before ours. I asked one of the staff and got back, some food takes longer to prepare than others.....so 2 quarter pounders with cheese meals, 6 chicken nuggets, and a medium fries takes longer than 4 happy meals, 4 burger meals and 2 mcflurrys? When my order finally appeared it was too on a tray for eating in, 1 quarter pounder missing and luke warm. The missing burger was rectified quickly but the temperature of the food was not. I realise that the restaurant was 9 to 10 staff members down (I was hearing that answer to almost every question asked or complaint given.) Which is not the remaining staff's fault but a little more honesty with the waiting time and communication wouldn't have gone amiss. So all in all a very disappointing long wait in maccy ds for...
Read moreEvery time we use the drive through some thing is allways missing or wrong (and it really is as me and my partner allways joke about what will they miss this time) so They really need to to be double checking orders in the bag before it is sent out and not forced to give a petty excuse that its "what they was told to bring out" just check the bag if you didn't pack it yourself!.
But yet if we eat in then everything is allways spot on.. seems they are trying to rush the drive through to keep their timer down to match the average etc etc. We was more understanding when it 1st opened as all new places of business has teething issues when they are training new staff for a new venue.. but you think they would have cracked it by now 🤣 please fix this issue. Just a simple check of the order would do it.
