I arrived with 4 friends this afternoon my husband went to order 1 young man being served before him we went to get a table hardly any customers, pulled a chair over so we could seat 5, then noticed that 2 of the chair seats were very stained an dirty so we then swapped them for 2 more. I then went to help my husband who had not yet placed his order the young man buying 1 cup of takeaway coffee was paying by app then the till operator said to try again as he still owed 79p in the end the young man said he would have to fetch it from his van so off he went, the man behind the counter would not take our order we had to wait whilst the young man came back from car park!!! He then took our order for 4 cups of tea an a hot chocolate an 3 little packs of biscuits, costing £17+ then told us he didn't really mind our furniture removing but we must put it back after us, I did mention that they were dirty an he replied are they stained or dirty ? Both I replied to no response. We then took our order to table an my friend went to ask for something to put the used tea bags in she came back with a paper cup an then went back to counter with money to pay for cup!!to put the rubbish in? . My friend's an I are OAPs. It took 15+ mins to get served, the place is dirty. We stayed at the travel lodge there, we were planning to go for breakfast in the morning but we will not now go there, the man there was unfriendly, obnoxious and not at all welcoming , the young lady who made the tea etc was very nice. Read moreI’m gutted to say today was the worst customer service I’ve experienced in Starbucks (by Debs), I was spoken down to and was made to feel like a nuisance in front of other customers. I always come to this Starbucks as it’s on my way to work, but after today I don’t think I’ll be returning and if I do I hope to have a more welcoming/friendly service. A coffee for me really makes my day, it’s my little treat which I look forward to, but after todays service I’ve left feeling disappointed. Debs didn’t seem welcoming from the get go when asking what would I like, but then I accidentally scanned my points card twice too quickly which she then huffed and looked at me and said “ohh now I have to start again”. There was no communication towards me, clearly because she was p*sed off with me. She called her colleague over saying “the system has tripled the points because SHE scanned her points to quickly”. Read moreVisited this Starbucks in Acle this week and for the second time in a month. I was very disappointed after the first time and the staff behaviour but wanted to give it another try. Other lady than the first time but service as awful as the previous one. Even worst I would say. Staff clearly don't like their job and make you feel that you are not welcome. O yes, and they push you out before the closing time and you can be sure that the store is always closed before the real closing time. I have tried to come several times before on my way back from work to grab a coffee and some other sweeteries after checking their opening hours and I have seen it already closed even if you could see staff inside and lights on but they would not open to you even when you show them that it should actually still be opened. I don't know how the management deals with this as lots of complaints looking at the other reviews but anyway, I will not bother going back...
