If you haven’t yet tried this place then don’t hesitate. First of all, the staff, clearly a couple with a passion for what they want to do, despite their business at the time being struck by Covid they did not give up their passion and proceeded to open up this amazing pizzeria. Secondly, the cleanliness of the venue, everything is immaculate, clean and tidy. Finally, and trust me I left the best till last, the pizzas, oh my god amazing, not only do you have the choice of the menu they will create something on a personal level for you. We ordered online, a really simple process where all of the options are listed with all the toppings described, times for collection are clear and you pay there and then. There are enough options to suit everyone and we were all happy with our picks. My husband collected and was blown away by the atmosphere inside and how the pizzas were made. The pizzas come in plain brown boxes with printed greaseproof inside. From ope ing the box you can see the quality of the toppings. The dough was amazing. Wood charred base but with an amazingly doughy crust. I'd recommend some dip to make the most of those crusts! We paid £53 for 4 pizzas and weren't disappointed. Been coming here for a while now so seems fitting to leave a review. First of all kudos to James and Mary Jane, no matter how busy they are they are always up for a chat and make you feel very welcome ! The place has a real community vibe as we and the other customers end up chatting away. It’s amazing watching the pizzas being made as the oven is visible from the counter and watching the whole process from laying the ingredients to cooking the pizza.
The pizzas themselves are incredible, fresh ingredients and I’ve been multiple times and NEVER had a badly cooked pizza, the consistency is amazing.
