The Old Tea Room... simply brilliant. What a great old fashioned tea room serving excellent tea, coffee, cakes, treats and even hotspots and panini's! Really fantastic owner and staff that really went out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure your order was perfect. We had a really nice treat of treacle tart and an apple crumble with ice cream. Other customers were enjoying the fresh made soups that seemed to be a real treat. Highly suggest a visit when you are near.

Lovely little tea room, with a cozy and homely atmosphere. Home made cakes and scones, with a nice selection of sandwiches available. Good service and reasonable prices. Can get quite busy as it is a fairly small place. But overall, a nice place to go for some tea and cake.

We went to this lovely cafe last Friday. We will definitely go again, super clean and covid safe. The food was delish and the staff were lovely. They even helped an elderly lady out so she didn't trip. Great customer service. Really looking forward to another visit soon

The staff were nice but a bit slow on taking our order. The food and drink really was a bit of a disappointment though. We both decided that if you're going to have hot chocolate it might as well be special so we had the deluxe hot chocolate for £4.10. It wasn't thin but also wasn't luxurious in any way with a small amount of cream on top, little enough that by the time it reached the table it was just a little foam around the mini marshmallows. The scone was really dry and I wouldn't eat it without drinking the hot chocolate. They did provide extra butter but I was trying to put the crumbled scone together with the...

We were out exploring the countryside and wanted to come in town to find a tea shop and although they may be a few in Alysham the lack of parking is awful! We found somewhere we could park for an hour so quickly popped in here! Fortunately the service was quite swift so we soon got served with our cream tea which was not only reasonably priced but delicious too! The place was packed so obviously popular with people eating a variety of things from the menu including an all day breakfast, panini, baked potatoes and much more! The staff were very friendly and...

It was really busy today but we managed to find a table. After ordering our drinks and food our drinks arrived promptly followed by our food which was excellent. The staff were amazing and the building is steeped in history. We will definitely be returning and would recommend a visit. We have previously visited Biddys tea room and we felt that the staff were more friendly here. As we left, tables were being laid up for an afternoon tea booking and it looked stunning with the China and lights. A...
